I have a swim ladder that works well until you get to the top; the issue is when climbing back on board over the lifelines.
Since the transom angles back, as you get to the top of the lifeline/pushpit you are leaning back off the ladder. So what I want to do is open the upper lifeline rail there so it won't force the ladder climber backwards, but will in fact act like the top of a swim ladder at a pool. ("side handles" to grab... right now all I have is the backstay)
Not a high priority for me right now, but I am looking for pictures of transoms with gates that open so I can figure out what might work best.
