We use it mostly for the anchor, but the other things mentioned too.
It is adequate, but I think needs the relatively high pressure of the "wash down" spec

I have looked at several boats with a hard piped jets to clean the anchor chain, instead of our 5/8" hose.
They all said that the hard piped nozzle was not worth the trouble, so we stay with the hose
