      • We have a conventionally grounded masthead , Windex, and a "fuzzy" topped grounded spike that some people have fun of
        • SG do you have an air terminal higher than your antenna?
          • Inserting a splitter loses 1-3db signal

          • It's about a 2' extension on the mast head -- about the same height as my VHF (It's a short Metz antenna).
      • The issues are more frequent with trying not to ground and micro discharges
  • Tom, I think you would be "re-muddling" your masthead
