As you know, they say that to get one good shot, take lots of them. I shot 50 of the sunset last night, and was about to put my camera away to go back to the boat with Pam when I saw the pelican coming. I had just enough time to snap off the lens cap while turning on the camera, raised it, clicked the shutter and hoped for the best.

When we build our cabin in Bleecker, NY we want a room or large wall space to hang photos of our cruise. This one is going on. I crop all the good ones to 8 x 10 for that reason.
