I am adding two marelon thru-hulls at the water line for deck scupper drains (replacing older plastic thru-hulls). I have some boat life Life Seal caulking. Would this be a proper sealant for marelon? I read somewhere that Life Caulk, my sealant of choice for bronze thru hulls, is not to be used with plastic.

Suggestions?
