...reading my recently arrived Boat US mag it says Life-Caulk is low on strength, chemically and dirt resistant, incompatible with plastic, and "need adequate thickness".
Before I'd commit to installing under the water line fittings I'd sure call the makers of Marelon.....but maybe that's just me.

- Polysulfide and Polyurethane caulks are okay for most plastics.
