According to the rep, those updates are only for the operating software (menus, etc) and NOT the charts. He did seem to be aware of the charting fault I was referring to, but had a 'well, those things happen' attitude without any sign of apology or offer for corrected charting. But the buoys in Salt Pond seem to be in the right places, and I know there's water in there, so I just live with it. It's certainly not a reason to go and spend the bucks for a Navionics card - I've got other things to spend that kind of money on (today was Easter dinner for 4, yesterday was a 10" Delta table saw, friday...)
