It's easier to make decisions only for yourself.
In Response To: Thinking out loud via keyboard ()

The single-handers I know make some remarkable trips. Whether it's weather or night, they on occasion plow through when I might not and certainly would not with Nan aboard. When you're alone, you only have to make decisions for yourself, based on your own limits and willingness to put up with less-than-ideal conditions. And if it doesn't work out, well, it was your call. So like anything in a relationship, is best to make decisions together, understanding how the other will handle the decision (even if not spoken). Another case of don't cruise to schedules!
