I would wait for a SSB. You will, at best, have an antique which will a hobby piece. (If you want to buy a Nikon F5 with pro lenses from me ;^))) )
Where do you sail currently? I think before I recommended an instrument package, you should tell us more about your sailing, your interests in systems, crew proclivities, etc.
If you don't have a reliable autopilot, then I would look at that as a very useful purchase -- as Rich pointed out.
