storing opened bottom paint
I'm painting my topsides and buying a gallon.
I use propane
I did, and still do, the same. Used to use that in the wood shop

Bloxygen....
Small, clean cans works well. I leave them uside down so paint seals the lids. Don't forget to write on them!

How about.....
I've never had a problem with partial cans of oil-based bottom paints.
Are the petroleum based?
My experience..
Same here, my bottom paint (Micron CSC) lasts at least a couple years ...
