A Luders design and build, the local owners father was also involved in the design(I believe). As I think the owner does most(if not all) of the maintenance on the old boat, working on the boat must be an interesting way to connect with your father decades after he's gone.
Another unusual aspect about DION is, the owner launches, sails and races the boat, every other year. On off years, she stays in the shed. Only time for half a sailing life, or maybe it takes the stress out of caring for DION.
