Things get crazy at our club during the July 4th fireworks - usually the weekend after. Many members bringing many guests. The problems are those folks that aren't - some even try to claim that they're guests of members, and may actually give the name of a member. Then there's the plain old crashers - those that figure since there's a private party, the public should attend too. For me, it's no longer an enjoyable event. I stay away and leave it for those that enjoy the madness. When the current 'powers that be' decide to make it members only, ie: no guests, no crashers, I'll go back.
