Greetings from Drake and Monique aboard s/v 'Paragon' (Westsail 42) in Reykjavik, Iceland.
We arrived here 5 days ago after a difficult 7 day sail from Greenland. (https://www.facebook.com/drakeParagon/posts/10153191434415322)
We spent 7 weeks sailing around the south west coast of Greenland, through some of the most incredibly beautiful scenery I've ever seen. Vast fjords, glaciers calving monster icebergs, amazing wildlife (seals, whales, musk ox, reindeer, polar bears), waterfalls, the green northern lights, and lots and lots of mountains of rock.
We took a ton of video footage and want to make short story videos of our adventures there.
We would really appreciate to hear what anyone thinks of them so that we can improve on our sailing story telling filmmaking.
Thanks!
Drake

And an aerial video tour of the fishing town of Paamiut, Greenland (population 1300.) We used a remote controlled drone quadcopter with a GoPro Hero 3 camera attached.

Right now it's blowing 30+ knots outside, and we're looking for a weather window to sail 700+ nautical miles to Ireland. The safe weather windows are very small and infrequent at this time of year. We keep seeing lows packing 50+ knots of wind out there, and no windows in the next week... With our inverter/charger now dead, we're running the engine everyday to make electricity. There just isn't enough sun here for the solar panels to keep up. We're using the wood burning stove every day to keep the cabin warm.
