I've been following your adventure on Facebook with great interest, you guys are doing great... Sounds like quite the sail up to Iceland, it really takes some doing to fill the cockpit of a Westsail 42 with seawater... (grin)

Good luck with the rest of the trip, I don't envy having to make that passage this late in the season... Are you considering at all the possibility of wintering in Iceland? I think that might be pretty cool, myself - although probably rather expensive. Just curious, did you intend to head up to Iceland instead of sailing direct to Ireland, or did the weather alone dictate that choice? Understanding, of course, that the weather station in Prinz Christian Sund doesn't sound like a spot one can really hang out for too long, waiting for the perfect window... (grin)
