...they wintered in Iceland several years ago, and then faced a similar situation the following year in Norway, but managed to work it out somehow... hard to imagine that a country like Iceland would actually 'force' sailors to depart with the onset of winter, but I've never dealt with such a situation, of course... Is it possible for you to 're-set' the clock prior to the 3 month deadline, by simply flying out of the country for a certain period of time? but to the best of my recollection, the Martins stayed there for the duration, I believe the kids even enrolled in school there...
