The previous owner mounted the Raymarine tri-data on the bulkhead starboard of the main hatch. That required about a 2" hole. Frankly, I hate the location, can't reach the controls from the wheel and anyone sitting there blocks the display. I was thinking of moving it to the wheel guard in a pod which I can pick up for less that $40. Unfortunately, that leaves the hole to deal with. IP's are not white, not buff but sort of a beige/pale yellow. My gelcoat skills are pretty lame so I do not feel confident doing a patch myself. I'm wondering if a patch is even the way to go with 23 year old gelcoat? Any thoughts on what I could do with that hole that doesn't scream THERE USED TO BE A HOLE HERE!!
