Is there anything else you would like to mount there?

May be an excuse to buy a new compass? My boat had the original 1974 knot meter when I bought it. I put in a Raymarine ST40 but the hole was too big so I cut a piece of teak to cover the hole and I mounted the ST40 on the wood. It is the same idea as Gene said, put a piece of wood over it but makes it a little less obvious

- Pick up some plush toys, get some bean bags and turn it into a carnival attraction.

- Glass it up and then gelcoat the entire side of the aft end of the house...
- An inclinometer
- 2" hole is also standard for VDO gauges
- Mount a nice piece of wood over it.
