when we were in a marina all the time, I made a 3 fold invitation that I would hand out to any guests coming to our boat. It was double sided printed. The front had a nice drawing with a space to add the names and date of the invite. The back page had a map of where the marina & slip was. In the middle was a "nicely worded" suggestions for when aboard. All the way down to soft sided luggage (if it was over night) and soft (no black) soled shoes.

Worked very well and gave me a check list to go over once they arrived.

Reminds me, I need to look for a copy of it!

I also made up a certificate that we given to guests to commemorate the "voyage" when it was over.....
