I don't like a screw shackle (like the Wichard #1495) unless you seize the screw, and that's not going to happen every time you hook up the main. If you want max strength and ease go with a trigger release shackle like I pictured below. They're much more expensive but you get what you pay for. You can often find them well priced on eBay
