Our boom is badly pitted and looks horrible. I was going to do a proper fair, fill, and aluminum painting but instead have opted to simply sand, slap on a few coats of rustoleum Aluminum and will eventually coat with a clear acrylic. A complete carbon fiber rig is in my future so this just has to hold out for another season.
