"Open plans" look great and Carl
In Response To: Open Plan Concept ()

made some beautiful boats, that's for sure. The down side with the open plan is weather. 12 to 15 days beating to weather in the "open plan" is a little more then the average cruiser is willing to put up with. I go for the semi open plan with a dodger and Bimini top. Actually I go for the fully and completely closed with doors plan. It's called a Pilot House.
