That is one of the signs of a bad breaker
In Response To: another shore power breaker question ()
Especially if it's been in for a good while and has seen a lot of energy through it. Such as a 30 amp breaker using 20 amps a lot.
Our 83 Gulfstar had that behavior until I swapped out the master breaker.

- Breakers are UL certified IIRC to TWO flips, two breaks as it were. After that....I'd consider changing it out.
