be able to use her experience as a bench mark. I had a similar thing happen. I was hit head on by a drunk driver. I was doing 60Mph and he was, most likely doing the same when he pulled out from behind a truck into my lane. I hit my breaks and so did he because I saw the front of his car dip. I couldn't steer right because there was a truck in the lane next to me on my right and the truck he was passing on my left. I just remember thinking "I wonder if I'm going slow enough to live through this?" I woke up while the firemen were using the "Jaws of Life" ripping what was left of my car apart to get me out. I figure that I might have gotten down to 20 or 25 with the drunk the same so somewhere around a 40 or 50 Mph impact. Then I got hit from behind by an old guy in a tank. That was about 35 years ago and was one of the reasons I quit my job and went on my first three year cruise. That wreck was quite the motivator. I have no reason to think my experience to date is anything out of the ordinary but I have no way to tell. Talking to your wife would give me some perspective. Even though mine was "only" a partial. Thanks,
