Dude, I gave up on splicing double braid, just not sailor enough.

In some instances I have tied one or two half hitches and whipped the bitter end and had service from it for a decade. Buntline hitch that Charlie suggests is a keeper but beyond my memory...apparently...to remember. Next time I visit him I'm gonna get a lesson..... I'm so ashamed....
If you actually got one done in that small line, you ARE the man!! Good work.
