But we too have noticed that the wind is often from an 'unusual' direction. Instead of the usual SW breeze, we'll often find breezes from the NW, E, or SE. But we haven't worried or pondered it - just go where the wind takes us and enjoy it. SOG gets over 6 and I can't get the wife off the tiller - she loves going fast! Wind dies and it's all mine to drive. Sunday was just beautiful - wife was reluctant to return to the marina.
