Try a 50% dilute of muriatic acid before taking anything apart

() Things loosened up a bit after the head sat for a while, which indicates that things may be dissolving. Before taking anything apart, try helping that process along--and also dissolving any sea water mineral buildup in the lines that may be contributing to the problem with a shot of muriatic acid left in it overnight. I would't use it full strength...cut it 50% with water. Be careful to follow use and handling instructions VERY carefully.
