Peggie, I bought the Marine Elagance head

() you suggested and we are quite happy with it but the Joker valve keeps getting deformed with salt build up. I just ordered 2 replacement valves from Phil. I was wondering if a 50/50% mix would brake up the solids on the joker valve and keep this issue out of sight? It looks like everything in it is plastic or rubber except the blades and shaft of the macerator part of the pump. It would be nice to clear this up with out diving into the head once again.
