In my stumbling around I went to a hydraulics shop.

They had a banjo sealing washer with an O ring center. It probably would have worked but the guy said they were designed to lock under pressure. As all my filters and lines -especially the 4 banjo fittings between the hand primer pump and the IP- those may be under a slight vaccum at times. He couldn't say for sure if they might admit some air then. That could drive you crazy.

- On copper, you can just heat.
