Sounds like I really need to add a starter battery.

() My present configuration is two equal group 27 batteries with an A/B switch... I use either A or B depending on odd or even month... with the other battery as a reserve.
This is NOT enough current to really run a refrigerator for a weekend...
Sounds like a smaller starter battery is the best solution, with a combiner for charging.
