There are customs stations at either side of the FDR bridge.
One advantage of going to Canuckistan by boat...

We've had the same experience with Canadian Customs

We watched it with rapt attention
Ha! That's why we were there. My wife is an epic history buff.
As the series noted, it was a house the Eleanor designed unlike their other residences which done by her Mother in Law.
No offense to Eleanor, it's a little milktoast in style.
