I didn't want to put this in the beating the dead horse thread--zooming causes accidents-- That thread is getting that CSBB long in the tooth-hard to read threaded format. Come to think of it, that may BE an innovation from the past?

Here's some ideas or alarms, some of which could be incorporated in present software and some, I think, exist(you gotta use your tools to take advantage of them).

These alarms are getting closer to 'walking down the street without looking', but hey, -these asleep at the wheel- groundings will never end so why not take advantage of easy alarms?
