Here's some ideas on Panbo that could alert the sleeping navigator of imminent groundings.
C-MA/Standard Horizon grounding alarm...

On our chartplotter and radio, these types of DSC and AIS alerts sound very loud alarms
I've heard DSC alerts and they're pretty startling
