You prompted my first look at P-AIS

It looks like a very good idea. At high $200's it's certainly affordable, and would be far more effective for a short-handed crew (my wife) to locate me this way than via hand-held VHF alone.
I wonder if some type of loud audible alert could be triggered aboard the boat if this were set off? Looks to pop-up an AIS SART message on the CP in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWyo2LrirjE
