Tefgel is a grease - it never hardens. A few years ago I did a complete mast rebuild. Used Tefgel everywhere.

First big ocean passage the gooseneck bolts started backing out. Washed out the Tefgel and replaced with Duralac. No more backout issue. Duralac hardens. Don't use tefgel in cyclical loading situations - it acts like a lubricant.
