I would think that's dangerous.

I had a guy with us for 10 days that did the'old mans shuffle' up the companionway and was unsteady on deck. He fell twice scaring the hell out of me. I decided that doing the old mans shuffle meant you're too old to sail. I don't see how anyone obese would be safe unless you motored on the ICW.

Then again, my mother was obese, 79, in a wheelchair and spent 2 weeks with us in the BVI.

Go figure.

I say put 5200 on the boxes and be done with it.
