a quick point with epoxy. .If the fastener is just slightly misaligned, you can heat

the metal fastener with a soldering iron, which softens the cured epoxy, allowing the fastener to move slightly. When it cools, all back as was epoxy wise.. use only on metal set in epoxy, not the plastic insert.
