But the iOS leaves me with very little control over the phone which is extremely frustrating. For example I could set the Android to "always load desktop site" and from that point forth every web site I went to was the desktop version. I hate mobile sites, because they suck....!
Apple is always smarter than the phones owner and won't allow owners to have control over settings like that because they know better than I do what I like or need. Because of Apples whit, for every site that loads mobile, I need to hit the menu bar scroll up and select "load desktop site", then on about 50% of them hit the "refresh" icon and wait for the page to load a THIRD TIME.... This is tedious, ridiculous and entirely pathetic that Apple can't have a simple check box under Safari to allow "always load desktop site" and make it a permanent setting. I really detest that Apple treats me like I am 7 years old and they know better than I do about how I want my web pages to load or how I want to set up my phone.
Really other than it "working" it is one of the most lacking phones I have owned, in terms of features & control. Screen is good, battery life decent, apps are mostly stable, camera okay, finger print security is utterly useless, and some other stuff is good but on almost every other point the Android OS beat it.
Decent piece of equipment, reliability wise, but that's about it. I'm just not a huge fan of the iOS. I could go on for days about how bad the iOS for me compared to the Android but it would get tedious and I'd get myself all worked up... (wink)
