I pull out the Cat in the Hat(as our kids used to call it), sail. It's really easy to fly. All I know about trimming it, I learned from pre 1960 photos(which is to say, not much).

Sometimes it adds noticeable speed(1/2-3/4 knot) -- sometimes it does not. But everybody likes it flying overhead, so I do it.
