We finished the race in 2 days 14 hours and change so we had a bit of variety in wind as you might expect. At the start on Saturday (first on the water picture) we had 10~11 knots which held for about the first 8 hours, that is the next couple of pictures. It dropped during the night to about 2 - 6 knots up and down. The next day was a bit more variable but no more than 16 knots. The second night was very light, 0~2 knots, for a few hours then it built to around 4~5 knots but dropped back down to just about nothing after sunrise which is the last picture taken during breakfast. Monday was light for the first half but built to about 12 knots for a while. Monday night it looked like it was going to drop down again but then built up to 18 knots and we had a close reach to the finish sailing at 8 knots.
We had a great chef who kept us fed with hot breakfast and dinner as well as cheese plates, veggies, fruit, sandwiches, desert, coffee and tea. I ate better on that boat than I do at home.
