Thanks Tom, but I still don't see how you did that. I try copying that and pasting it into the image URL field and adding .jpg, but I get nothing.
The winds here do make sailing a challenge. As they say, too little, too much or on the nose. The serious and dedicated can and do sail a lot. Most of us motor a lot. Just the other day I was talking to a friend who gets to far more place than I do, he told me he sails 90% of the time. 10% is more normal. Part of the problem is all of the islands and channels that dominate the winds. That and the currents. Going up Johnstone Straits against a 25 knot wind and 3 knt current is not my idea of fun. Once when I was complaining about a forecast of 25 knots, another friend asked where I got these optimistic wind forecasts.
