Had a really interesting night here on our Bay. We had launched a 21 footer we had just rebuilt

and sailed it just across the bay to a protected spot for our very first night aboard

About midnight or thereabouts, the boat suddenly got shoved way across to one side, snatching up on the rode. Woke us up big time, and before we could scramble up on deck we got shoved the OTHER way,, til we hit the end of the scope.

Got on deck to find the water lit like daylight with phosphorescence- The anchor rode looked like it had lights on it.

And two porpoises were having a ball- shoving that glowing line back and forth. They did it another time or two while we watched, then swam off leaving glowing trails behind them.

Sure brought us out of the bunk though
