...in this SO expensive boat you still have to shinny into and out of the aft double "stateroom" bunks. I agree, they tried to shoehorn too much into this boat which, as a small boater most of life, makes no sense in 50' platform.

I like an aft double bunk but find the kind you can at least roll into so superior to shinnying. Too damn old to shinny, especially in a double. I feel the same about bee berths unless they have a decent "walk in" notch which enable one to get up in the night for watch or...whatever without disturbing the other person.
