A few pictures of Hinckley Bermuda 50 hull #1
Interesting, thanks, Todd.
Re: A few pictures of Hinckley Bermuda 50 hull #1
Looking at the layout you provided, I don't mind the galley forward a bit so much as......
Damned auto spell.........
The aft doubles...
Getting all that stuffed back below, it doesn't look too high sided to my eye.
The ergonomics of the cockpit seats and wheels
I agree
Good point, spray dodgers and biminis are out.
Reminds me of the Reichel/Pugh 60 I sailed on last summer.
Tomorrow's "traditional" style
Re: Tomorrow's "traditional" style
Great to see those. I give H credit. This isn't a bashful attempt to get back in the sailboat market
To my eye, it doesn't look very different . . .
Would you be singing a different tune if you weren't the lucky editor of Good Old Boat?
The seats below and in the cockpit of the Older B50's are no bargain either. ;^)
Power Generation
In their defense...
I wasn't really bringing my Good Old Boat hat to this discussion . . .
To use your whaling boat analogy, I don't think it's so bad to leave those designs in history.
I can just picture some wannabe Hinckley owner...
Standing rigging?
Re: Standing rigging?
Standing rigging not running
That might be PBO rigging
Re: Those old enough to remember...
