You obviously don't live in Maine, Steve. Around here, a mink is just a mink.
Garbage man at Great Harbor.
We have had a family of mink at our club for as long as I can remember
Seeing a sub nearby
Watching a fast ferry return to the dock
That is remarkable.
That is amazing. We tried to stop a bus outside of Portsmouth NH.
in Bradenton Beach, Fl, they have free trolleys. Riding to the grocery store, and left my cap on
Bodo Norway!! Now there's a name from the past. Flew into there in Apr, 1963 to carry an engine in
Minks?
Mink? Maybe rat?
Interesting - no, bizzare, yes: wrapping four(4!)lobster buoys-at one time, around my prop!
what would you have done if you could not free yourself, Tom?
You can always get free then sail off if there's wind.
Yeah, or anchor. I think I had several options before a tow was needed.
I've freed myself without going in the water.
What do you do it the line is wrapped around the prop and/or keel -- and knotted?
You can always winch enough of the "anchor" line up to cut yourself loose.
Calm conditions help a lot
I thought she'd be flipping the coin and calling whether it's heads or tails
Turning the shaft from inside is a great idea.
Jerico Bay was easy yesterday...
That is a nasty area in there south of the Sister islands...
