When you dance with the devil.........
Gunboat 60, FAULT TOLERANT just came by me in Pulpit. (Yawn...)
Anchored in the morning light, it's impressive.
Interesting concept that sailing fast limits your options . . .
Not just sailing fast . . .
I watched a couple sail their Hinckley B40 onto their mooring this weekend. This is how it went:
All well and good when it works as planned.
Some might say, all it takes is a parted transmission linkage, a fuel clog,
On my home mooring
Sailing onto or off a mooring is pretty easy. I do it frequently with my Allied 36 ....
Common sense, knowing the boat, conditions, respecting others...........
If the owner wanted to, I wonder what his captain would say?
leaving Rockland to Pulpit in dense fog
Smart. Those of that live here have local knowledge that makes all the difference.
Good photos, thanks! Especially the second 'poses'.
Front Street is making new daggerboards for Gunboats these days...prepreg carbon
Interesting. Cool boats, here's another shot.
