This Gunboat looked like it had a captain at the helm and and second mate on deck(may have even had a cook below). If you're a sailor, a boat like this may be a guilded cage. Here it is blasting in, flat as an Amtrak commuter, at I would guess,... the high teens? That is impressive to see.
There is a sticky wicket to thread rounding Pulpit Rock. You have to make enough distance-straight to windward(port tack) in these conditions-to set yourself up to tack and clear a shallow bar to leeward, on your starboard tack. Not much room for error for a boat this big.
It was sheer luck, but I seem to have captured the owner of FAULT TOLERANT, and the owner of Pulpit Rock(proud Osprey atop the Pulpit), in a similar-proud pose, against the sun setting on the Camden Hills.
