Well, southern Maine is the near south, Massachusetts is the south and the deep south starts...
And Texas is???? We'll be sailing in January, most likely. Man, do I every HATE cold

Had a great sail today. Been sailing every Weds, but past week was blowing 18, gusting 22
I like the heat, but "just over 100" would likely kill most Newenglander's, Charlie.
Took a friend out a few weeks ago- reefed jib, and single reef in main- link to video

not much of a summer
It's a different life in your neck of the woods....we had record number of 90*+ days this summer....
Oh, and save the few with trailers, we don't pull our boats over winter.....
