I like the heat, but "just over 100" would likely kill most Newenglander's, Charlie.

And that would be supine in the shade, never mind work! I contemplated tying in a reef on my mooring bouncing in 15 knots, yesterday. Then instead of beating myself up, I left the ties and sailed 135 and mizzen. At best, I can tack about 150 degrees, but off the wind above 15 knots, jib and jigger is handy. Without the main, the helm was neutral going about 6 knots so the wheel pilot takes it in stride.
Lovely sail, just me and a small dog. We have all day to sail home, with a full main.
