As near as I can tell looking at the documentation on the website this mast is extruded with two separate compartments the length (height?) of the mast. The aft compartment is where the sail and furling mandrel live, the forward, smaller compartment is where the wiring goes. So, I believe that yes, you could run additional wiring. I was actually thinking about adding a foredeck light although that project would be compounded by the example of modern electrical panels it has below. No spares.
