poor timing
In Response To: Keep an eye on Joaquin ()

I have been monitoring the buoy just off shore in Lake Erie since last night with a cold front passing through. We have a Small Craft Advisory in place until next Monday and although they predicted waves 5'-8' through the period they are already exceeding that, with wind is out of the northeast gusting to 35knts right now. Current conditions are waves 5-9' at 5 second intervals, that's a tough go. With this tropical storm we will likely see the weather continue to deteriorate with these conditions continuing past Monday as the storm wraps up the coast. While we won't get the worst of it like you guys in Maine I'll be adding dock lines after work today.

We are scheduled to drop the mast Friday and haul the boat Saturday.
